- THIS AMENDMENT ISSUED TO CORRECT THE # OF DAYS FOR COMPLETION OF DREDGE CYCLE FROM 90 TO 55 DAYS. PLEASE NOTE THIS PROJECT PREVIOUSLY ADVERTISED UNDER SOLICITATION NO. W912PL-12-B-0006 WHICH WAS NEVER ISSUED. Project consists of biennial maintenance dredging of the Channel Islands Harbor federal navigation channel and sand trap, and maintenance dredging of Port Hueneme Harbor as needed. Majority of the dredge material is placed on Hueneme Beach located south of Port Hueneme Entrance Channel, approximately 2 miles from the Channel Islands Harbor sand trap. The proposed contract will contain a base dredging period (cycle) and two option periods (cycles) with a completion time of approximately 55 days per dredge cycle. The estimated cost range of construction is over $10,000,000. The following codes also apply to this acquisition FSC Y1KF Dredging, SIC Code 1629 Heavy Construction, Non Building Structures. The acquisition will use the FAR Part 14 Sealed Bidding procedures for award. This procurement is an UNRESTRICTED acquisition. For large businesses a subcontracting plan will be required. The solicitation with plans and specifications will be available for downloading on or about October 19th, 2012 at the website www.fbo.gov. The solicitation, amendments and planholder's list will only be available for downloading at www.fbo.gov Please note for access to the solicitation, parties must be SAM-registered, have a DUNS number or CAGE code. It is the responsibility of the contractor to check www.fbo.gov website frequently for any amendments or changes to the solicitation.
