- BULK ROAD SALT The Federal Bureau of Prisons, United States Penitentiary, Hazelton, West Virginia intends to issue solicitation RFQP01211300004, for the requirement of Bulk Road Salt. This solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business, FOB Destination, delivery dates will begin effective date of award through March 31, 2013 (estimated). Deliveries will be made to the United States Penitentiary-Landscaping, 1640 Skyview Drive, Bruceton Mills, WV 26525. The contract type is a firm-fixed price to a single responsible and responsive vendor. The Government will award to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered, prices being rated higher than past performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about October 22, 2012, and will be posted to the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to insure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is November 5, 2012 by 14:00. Payment will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Each offer is required per 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-line Representation. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations (AUG 2005) is included.
