Description
The purpose of this requirement is to seek a qualified contractor to provide all labor, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to provide complete audio-visual services at a reduced labor rate and parts. Contractor is to provide quarterly tests, maintenance, inspections and services of various elements of the audio-visual equipment at the Potomac Consolidated TRACON (PCT) and the Air Traffic Control Systems Command Center (ATCSCC) located at 3699/3701MacIntosh Drive, Warrenton, Virginia This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside offered to all qualified, responsive concerns. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to award this contract by December 1, 2012. The period of performance is estimated to begin on/or about 1 December 2012 through 30 September 2013. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334210, Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing, the size standard is $20.5 Million. Offfers are due on November 15, 2012 by 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time). "This notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-own concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available uner the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at the prime interest rate to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
