- This solicitation is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. The Navy intends to solicit and negotiate this contract as a Sole Source Procurement. The proposed contract action is for a Five (5) Year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for supplies in which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, SKF USA Inc. 890 Forty Foot Road Lansdale, PA 19446. All other offerors may submit a quote that will be reviewed by the Government. However, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received may be considered solely for the purpose, of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. CLIN 0001: Angular Contact Ball Bearing Procurement Schedule: Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division intends to enter into a Firm Fixed Price supply contract IAW FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Inspection and Acceptance is to be at destination with deliver F.O.B. Destination: NSWC Crane, IN 47522-5001. Delivery is required FOB Destination, Crane, IN 47522 10 WKS ARO. Please reference delivery schedule in RFQ. Solicitation will be available for download on the NECO and FedBizOpps website. All amendments to this solicitation that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to FedBizOpps and NECO. Interested vendors are responsible for all amendments that are issued pertaining to this solicitation. Request for information from vendors who did not, submit a response to this solicitation will be rejected and will not receive a reply from the government. To be eligible for award of a Government contract, contractors must be properly registered in the Governments Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). CCR and ORCA have been recently incorporated into the Governments new point of registration, System for Awards Management (SAM).
