Description
Please do NOT call or send an email regarding this synopsis. Please monitor this website for the complete solicitation. Once the solicitation is available and if you have space availability on the date specified then you may submit a quote. SCOPE OF REQUIREMENT: The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) requires guest rooms of a qualifies hotel in Washington, DC for the OCC's Career Forum -- Class of 2010. The conference will be held at Constitution Center on May 7 - 8, 2013. Check-in shall be on Monday, May 6, 2013 and check-out shall be on Wednesday, May 8, 2013. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: The facility must 1) have lodging that is compliant with the Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act of 1990 15 U.S.C. 2201 et seq, (Public Law 101-391), and must hold a FEMA certification number; 2) be compliant with Americans w/Disabilities Act, 42 U.S.C. Section 12101 et seq. (ADA); 3) have one of the following quality ratings: first class or higher per the Hotel & Travel Index, three crowns or higher per the OAG Business Travel Planner, or three diamonds or higher per AAA; 4) if the facility is unable to host the entire forum (ALL guest rooms) and is subcontracting with other facilities/hotels, all facilities shall be within 3 blocks of the main facility (the offeror); and 5) the facility or facilities must be within 4 blocks of a Metro station. HOW TO ACQUIRE A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION: The OCC anticipates issuing the solicitation through this web site no later than November 2, 2012. The solicitation document will contain the details of OCC's requirements, the instruction for submitting a quote, and how the quotes will be evaluated. THIRD PARTIES…If you submit a quote on behalf of a hotel, you must follow the instructions in Part IV of the RFQ. This is NOT a small business set-aside. It is a full and open competition using simplified acquisition procedures as prescribed in FAR Subpart 13.1. All responsible hotels may submit a quote that will be considered by the OCC. The OCC anticipates awarding this contract in December 2012.
