- Description of item function: Actuates the pilot valve that directs fluid flow to the pilot port of the flow control valve. The valve solenoid controls the flow of hydraulic fluid. NSN: 4810012152579HS Part Number (P/N): 622017 AMC: 3D Application for B-1 NOUN: Valve, solenoid The estimated issue date of the Request for Proposal November 13th, 2012 with an estimated closing date 30 days thereafter. Electronic procedures will be used for the solicitation. The solicitation number will be FA8118-13-R-0009. Purchase Request (PR) number FD2030-13-00130 is for a firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contact with a period of performance of one year. Minimum 1 each and maxium 8 each.For Best Estimated Quantities (BEQ) of 5 each for one year. Required delivery 5 per month, 30 days ARO/Reps. History: This is sole source to Eaton Aerospace LLC cage code 62983. The proposed contract action is for a supply for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested person may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fort-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
