Advertisement - Special Notice of Intent U.S. GOVERNMENT Special Notice This is not an invitation for Bids General Services Administration (GSA) seeks to renew space at the current location State: Puerto Rico City: Arecibo Delineated Area: Central Business District (Arecibo) Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 5,000 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 5,000 Space Type: Office Parking Spaces (Total): 20 Parking Spaces (Surface): 20 Parking Spaces (Structured): 0 Parking Spaces (Reserved): 0 Full Term: 5 Firm Term: 0 Option Term: none Additional Requirements: N/A THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION FOR BIDS. The United States Government intends to seek a lease renewal at its current location for approximately 5,000 ANSI/ BOMA Office Area (ABOA) usable square feet of office and parking space. The proposed term is for 60 months, with cancellation rights upon 60 days prior written notification. Any offered property must be located within the Arecibo area in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. The Government will use the information it receives in response to this special notice as a basis to develop a cost-benefit analysis and to determine whether to compete the lease requirement or pursue a sole source justification to remain at its current location. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternate space that potentially can satisfy the Government's requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements, telecommunications infrastructure and security costs. The offered space must meet federal Government requirements for security, fire, safety, handicapped accessibility of the offered property as to the building's structural integrity; the highest safety and security of its surrounding areas. A fully serviced lease is required. Offered space shall not be in the 100/500 year flood plain. The offered space should be ready for occupancy by January 16, 2013.
