Description

TIPS Sources Sought This announcement is to replace the announcement FA8204-12-R-TIPS. The AFNWC/PKA, Hill AFB, Utah, is seeking potential responsible capable sources to provide, deliver, install, test, and demonstrate a new Telemetry Integrated Processing System (TIPS). This TIPS system is unique to Minuteman III (MMIII) operations out of Vandenberg Air Force Base (VAFB). The TIPS is used to process and display telemetry data for Range users and Range Safety. Telemetered data from missile launches is collected at the 30th SW telemetry receiving sites and retransmitted via microwave links to the TIPS. Receiving and recording of raw data will continue to be provided by the Range. The new TIPS will need to be installed at VAFB in building 6601 and will need to interface with the existing Telemetry Analog Equipment Room (TAER). The requirements document is not attached to this announcement, however the governement would like industry feedback on the requirements document.
