Description
HSFE70-13-R-0004 Attachment 1 Statement of Work THIS ACQUISITON IS SET ASIDE FOR ALL SMALL BUSINESS This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. HSFE70-13-R-0004 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). HSFE70-13-R-0004 and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-60. This requirement is being solicited as a Full and Open Competition. The small business standard for NAICS 532490 is $7.0 million. This requirement is for a firm-fixed price contract. Award will be based on best value tradeoff to the Government. Responses to the combined synopsis/solicitation due date is 29 October 2012 by 1:00 PM EST. Responses should be emailed to Carolyn.Knight@fema.dhs.gov and Chase.Smith@fema.dhs.gov. Clarification for Attachment 1 Statement of Work: The word “install” refers to the point in which the generator has been delivered and cables have been pulled and handed over to the lessor. Once cables are passed to the lessor, “install” on vendor’s part has been completed. The vendor shall assist the lessor with the running of cable for installation of the connection to the power source of the facility where applicable, as this may be needed at the MD NPSC. However, this type of installation is not part of the definition in our subject of purpose to “deliver and install” as this assistance may not be needed at both sites.
