Description
Base Support Vehicle and Equipment (BSVE) Services, Oahu, Hawaii. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: -Repair of Transportation Equipment. Work will consist of Body and Fender Repairs, Painting and Marking, Glass Replacement, Incidental Repairs, Upholstery Repair/Replacement. The contractor shall provide all materials to perform the services. The services are to be performed at the contractor ™s site. -Cleaning of Transportation Vehicles. Work will consist of Exterior Washing/Drying of vehicle, and Interior Cleaning of Vehicle, and Exterior Polishing of Vehicle. The services are to be performed at Government sites. -Towing and Recovery of Government Vehicles. Work will consist of towing, recovery, electrical jumpstart of dead batteries, and unlocking vehicles at various sites. All towing and recovery of vehicles will be towed to Government Property. Vehicles are less than 8,501 pounds (GVWR) up to 45,000 pounds (GVWR). -Vehicle and Equipment Auction Services. The contractor shall transport and provide a storage facility off Government property to perform auctioning of Government vehicles. The vehicles and equipment will consist of various sizes of trucks, vans, cranes, and various types of construction equipment. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 811121 and the annual size standard is $7.0 million. The contract term will be a base period of one year plus four option years. Only the base period of the contract will offer a minimum guarantee. The total term of the contract, including all options, will not exceed 60 months. The Government will not synopsize the options when exercised. IDIQ work may be issued via the DOD EMALL, a web-based ordering system, using Government purchase cards. This contract will replace contracts for similar services. We will include information about the current contracts and the incumbent contractors (e.g., value of last option exercised, firm name, address, etc.) with the solicitation package. We do not require requests under the Freedom of Information Act for this information. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ when it becomes available. All interested offerors shall register at the website. No notice of solicitation activity will be provided to interested offerors. The proposed contract is limited to qualifying 8(a) firms. The Government will not consider offers from other than 8(a) firms. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers. The solicitation utilizes source selection procedures which require offerors to submit a technical and price proposal for evaluation by the Government. Proposal receipt date is approximate.
