- The Air Force requires a Vector Network Analyzer/ Impedance Analyzer (VNA/ZA) optimized for low frequency circuit measurements. Requirements are based on Agilent E5061B with options 3L5/020/ 005/720/1E5 or equal is acceptable. Basic requirements: S-parameter test port measurements: 5 Hz to 3 GHz Port 1 Reflection, Port 2 Reflection, Port 1-2 Series-thru, Port 1-2 Shunt-thru System dynamic range: 100 kHz to 1 MHz, 3 kHz IF bandwidth 90 dB 1 MHz to 3 GHz, 10 Hz IF bandwidth 120 dB Uncorrected directivity 25 dB (300k to 3 GHz) Uncorrected source match 35 dB (300k to 3 GHz) Gain phase test port measurements: 5 Hz to 30 MHz 1 Mohm input impedance Gain-phase Series-thru, Gain-phase Shunt-thru Impedance analysis (ZA) firmware for comprehensive component and characterization RF source power level: -45 to + 10 dBm (into 50 Ω) Sweep types: Linear, Logarithmic frequency sweep, Segment sweep, Power sweep Number of point: 2 to 1601 Calibration: Impedance calibration (open/short/load and optional low-loss capacitor). Response thru calibration, Full 1-port calibration, Full 2-port calibration, Port extensions.
