- This synopsis/pre-solicitation notice modification for non-commercial supplies has a change only to the quantity-all other information remains the same. The Response Date is still Nov 08, 2012. This is a synopsis/pre-solicitation notice for non-commercial supplies. It is intended to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to Integrated Procurement Technologies (IPT). The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) Philadelphia has established a requirement for the listed Integrated Procurement Technologies (IPT) to provide the following commercial supplies: 396 electrical solenoids (Part Number 197967-001 Deluge Valve Solenoids, SCN). The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and does not constitute a solicitation. However, all proposals received prior to the closing date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Upon its release, the solicitation will be made available electronically at https://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://neco.navy.mil. A hard copy of the solicitation will not be made available. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be considered for award. See https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM / for further information and instructions. The solicitation is expected to be released within on or after 08 November 2012.
