Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs VA Palo Alto Health Care System intends to issue a Request for Quote to obtain Endoscopy Services. The contractor shall provide the space and resources necessary for a VA physician to perform (GI) endoscopic procedures at the contractor's place of business. The contractor's place of business may be in a hospital setting with a GI suite or a separate surgical center located in or within 30 miles of Monterey, CA. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received prior to November 16, 2012 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. NAICS code is 621111. The size standard is $10.0 million. All potential contractors must be registered in SAM https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ (Formerly www.ccr.gov) to do business with the Government and must have completed online Representations and Certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov. Ensure your registration is correct, current and has not expired.
