Description
The purpose of this Request for Offer is to seek competent and qualified contractors to provide Janitorial Services for the Dutch Harbor Transient Quarters in Dutch Harbor, Alaska. NAICS Code # 561720 (Janitorial Services) SET-ASIDE INFORMATION: All responsible, competitive offers that are small business concerns & conform to the solicitation, will be considered equally for award. (clause 3.6.1.-1 Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside. SUBMISSION OF OFFERS: Responses to this SIR may be submitted to Karen McIvor via fax at 425-227-1156 or via electronic means to karen.ctr.mcivor@faa.gov. Responses are due by 4:00pm 11/23/2012. Complete instructions, conditions, and notices to offerors can be found in Section L of the SIR. GENERAL INFORMATION: All amendments/instructions concerning this project will be posted to the FAA's Contract Opportunities website. NOTE: Prospective offerors are hereby notified that employees of Acentia, a private contractor to the Government, may be used in evaluating offers received under this SIR. NOTICE for informational purposes for Minority, Women-owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
