Description
The U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command (USASMDC/ARSTRAT) is making a modification to contract W9113M-05-C-0219 to provide a nine (9) month period of performance (PoP) extension and a ceiling increase of $8.5M, to include a level of effort of 16,796 direct productive person hours (DPPH), with Exelis, Inc. dba ITT Exelis, 2560 Huntington Ave, #200, Alexandria, VA 22303-1404. This extension is for Lethality Testing and Criteria Development under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. No other known source can provide these services to meet the current schedule. The period of performance will be extended from 27 Dec 2012 to 30 Sep 2013. This effort is to develop requirements, computational analyses, test article fabrication, experimental investigations, data analysis/model development, conducting/supportion evaluations of interceptor concept/system performance and effectiveness, pre and post test computational analysis and determination of weapon system effectiveness against designated threats. The support is directly related to Kinetic Energy Weapons (KEW) Missile Defense System Testing and effectiveness requirements against various air and ground based test events and Directed Energy Weapons (DEW) system effectiveness. A Secret Clearance will be required.
