Department of Commerce, National Institute of Standard and Technology (NIST), Acquisition Management Division, 100 Bureau Drive, Building 301, Room B125, Mail Stop 1640, Gaithersburg, MD, 20899-1640, UNITED STASTES Description The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Acquisition Management Division, on behalf of the NIST Office of Plant Division, intends to negotiate ENV Services, Inc., 2880 Bergey Road, Suite K, Hatfield, PA 19440 on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR Subsection 6.302-1 for maintenance of two module lab with integrated Class 1000 clean room. This is custom made clean room and ENV Services, Inc is the original supplier and certifier of the HEPA, and they are the only supplier of the non-standard filter media for the filters replacement. They will also are able to provide replacement for the motor that is compatible with the existing motor. Scope of work involves labor and material to replace all HEPA filters and fan motors; testing of filters and cleaning after filter and fan motor replacement. Interested parties that are authorized by the ENV Services, Inc to provide the aforementioned supplies and services may clearly and unambiguously identify their capability to do so in writing on or before November 12, 2012 by 4:30pm to maria.gray@nist.gov. Such written responses will be used solely to determine whether competitive procedures could be used for this acquisition.
