- Attachment #2 - Project Specifications (37 pages) Amendment #01 - Site Visit notes and adds Project Specifications This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared for a post fire emergency contract to be issued under Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-2, and 41 U.S.C.253(c)(2) Unusual and Compelling Urgency, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes/offerors are being requested and a written solicitation is also provided. The USDA Forest Service /Utah Acquisition Support Center in Salt Lake City, Utah is soliciting quotes/offerors for the following requirement: AG-84N8-S-13-0002 BAER - South Hughes Creek Stabilization on the Manti LaSal National Forest. Bids are due no later than November 13, 2012 by 1:00 p.m. (local time) and shall be submitted to: USDA/Forest Service Utah Acquisition Support Center- 2nd floor 2222 W. 2300 S. Salt Lake City, Utah, 84119 The Synopsis/solicitation document and attached solicitation documents provide information on the above referenced solicitation. The South Hughes Creek Stabilization project is located approximately 24 miles from Huntington, Utah on the east side of State Route 31. PRE-BID SITE VISIT A pre-bid site visit is planned for November 5, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Interested parties should plan to meet at Hughes Campground, Huntington Canyon. START DATE and CONTRACT TIME The anticipated start date will be 10 days (or as soon as possible) after notice to proceed with 30 calendar days to finish contract performance. DISCLOSURE OF THE MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS. (FAR 36.204) The Government Estimate for this Construction Project is: Between $25,000 and $100,000 Amendment #01 - Posted November 7, 2012 This amendment adds notes taken at the Site Visit held on November 5, 2012 as well as adds the Project Specifications (37 pages) there were not included as part of the original solicitation posting. The closing dates for quote submittal has not been extended. Offerors are required to include a signed copy of this Amendment with any quote submitted for this project.
