- Attached is the draft Statement of Requirements (SOR) Department of the Air Force, Air Education and Training Command (AETC), 42nd Contracting Squadron, 50 LeMay Plaza South, Bldg 804, Maxwell AFB, AL 36112 is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice for F2XHC62128A001. The delivery date is 60 days after date of contract (ADC). The "Draft" Statement of Requirements (SOR) supporting this requirement will be housed on the Federal Business Opportunities website under F2XHC62128A001, Thin Client. The "Final" SOR will be posted on or about 14 Nov 12 with the final solicitation. Item Number 0001: Hewlett Packard (HP) blade server system, VMware Desktop Virtualization Software and other miscellaneous hardware and software as describe in the attached Statement of Requirement (SOR). Item Number 0002: Labor to install items described in Item Number 0001 in accordance with the attached SOR This will be a brand name requirement. A redacted version of the brand name justification will be housed on www.fbo.gov with the solicitation to this requirement. This will be a Firm-Fixed price contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334111 and the small business size is 1000 employees. The solicitation will be issued for full and open competition and made available on the FedBizOpps (FBO) website at http://www.fbo.gov, on or about 13 Nov 2012. Paper copies will not be available. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. You must register on the FedBizOpps website in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. When the solicitation is downloaded, it is important to read the solicitation COMPLETELY, as there are milestones that MUST be met by the prospective offeror in order for their proposal to be considered responsive. IMPORTANT NOTES: 1. It is the responsibility of each offeror to ensure that NAICS 334111 is added to your Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. 2. All prospective Offerors interested in submitting a proposal must have a Commercial and Government Entity code (CAGE). 3. All offerors responding to the solicitation must be registered with the CCR, which can be accomplished via the web @ https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/, Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) database @ http://www.wawf.eb.mil, and Online Representation and Certifications Application (ORCA) at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Vendors not registered in CCR database are ineligible for award.
