- The US Army Materiel Systems Analysis Activity (AMSAA) will be conducting a Pre-Solicitation Meeting/Industry Day for the acquisition of ANALYTICAL SERVICES associated with Physics of Failure (PoF) and Reliability Analyses, Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear (CBRN) and chemical demilitarization analyses, Mobility Power Energy (MBE) Analyses, Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Analyses, and Command Control & Communication (C3) Analyses. The purpose of this meeting is to provide interested companies with an overview of program requirements and an opportunity to gather more information prior to the posting of the formal solicitation. Additionally, Industry Day will provide an opportunity for the following: (1) Government to conduct market research on industry (including small business) capabilities; (2) contractor presentations to market their capabilities to attending AMSAA representatives. AMSAA conducts responsive and effective materiel and logistics systems analyses to support decision making for equipping and sustaining the US Army; AMSAA is committed to giving the Soldier decisive capability to win across the spectrum of future military operations; providing analytical expertise to help guide the Army in selecting, acquiring, fielding and sustaining new technologies; and developing the analytical workforce of the future. AMSAA requires the support of highly skilled scientists, engineers, operations research analysts, geospatial analysts, mathematicians and computer scientists to conduct analyses and develop models and tools for AMSAA's Chemical Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN); Mobility, Power and Energy (MPE); Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR); Command, Control and Communication (C3); and Reliability Branches. Registration: Registration by phone will NOT be accepted. All registrations shall be done by e-mail, and must be completed prior to close of business on Thursday, 6 December 2012. Registration requests shall include name(s), company name and address, phone, and e-mail address. Attendance is limited to two (2) individuals per company. All attendees must be US Citizens or permanent resident Aliens Register via email to: abdulhakim.abdurahman.civ@mail.mil; please use "AMSAA Analytical Services Industry Day Registration" in the subject line. Note: This is NOT a "bidders conference"; this announcement is neither a contract, nor a request for proposal, nor a promise to contract, nor a commitment of any kind. The Government assumes no liability for costs incurred by any offeror for presentations, marketing efforts or data offered for examination; therefore the cost of preparing information in response to this notice is not considered an allowable charge to the Government.
