They will identify the approximately 20 members of each council in preparation for training and stand up. Based on training dollars and the desire to provide hands-on assistance as each council gets started, DFAS will schedule 2 courses at separate sites for this Fiscal Year (FY13), and 2 courses at separate sites for next Fiscal Year (FY14). Diversity Council Training is intended to train up to 24 members of a new council at each DFAS site using a 16 hour (2 day) course consisting of classes that accomplish the requirements below and as noted on the Statement of Work (Attachment A). Requirements: The course must - Train a newly formed Diversity and Inclusion Council to: > Analyze employee demographic data relating to all areas of the employment cycle. And prepare reports and recommendations based on the findings to present to senior leadership. > Brief leadership on the D&I Council's ongoing activities. > Inform and educate the workforce on the D&I Council's purpose and function. > Establish relationships with Colleges, Universities, the community and professional organizations and manage the output of the relationships. 2.
