- Description
- The scope of this contract will include Design/Build, Construction, and Incidental Service Projects associated with Military and Civil, Support for Others, and other programs to support the Great Lakes & Ohio Rivers Division Mission. It is a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) Umbrella contract. It is anticipated to award no less than 3 but no more than 5 contracts under this umbrella contract. This solicitation is restricted to 8A Contractors that are registered in the Small Business Administration 8A program. NAICS Code for this procurement is 236220 ($33.5 Million). Total combined contract capacity under the umbrella contract is planned to be $20 million. The work can consist of but not be limited to: design/build, building construction, demolition; debris removal; structural repairs; renovations; site work; utility installations and replacements; paving; channel improvements; Industrial repairs/upgrades, landscaping; geo-technical work, instrumentation, architectural, security systems and design associated with various aforementioned tasks. The MATOC will consist of a one three-year base period and one two-year option period for a total of five years. Minimum guarantee is $20,000.00 for the three year base contract and $10,000.00 for the option. Individual task order limit is $4,000,000 million with a typical task order amount of approximately $1,000,000. Task Orders issued against this contract will be construction type with the applicable wage rates applying. Sites of work can be anywhere in the Great Lakes & Ohio Rivers Division Mission Boundaries including the Nationwide Army & Air Force Reserve Mission. This is a Request for Proposal and offers will be evaluated on the following technical basis, not necessarily in this order of importance: 1) Management, 2) Experience, 3) Past Performance, 4) Safety, and 5) Cost. A seed project will be awarded along with the Umbrella contract and is titled Replace Fire Alarm System F/20145 and F20146. The location of the seed project is Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and the estimated price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Approximate issue date for the solicitation is 21 November 2012 and approximate closing date is 21 December 2012. This project will be available by downloading from the Internet only.
