Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number, VA260-13-Q-0084, is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 424480, Size Standard: 100 employees. This procurement is open market with a small business set aside. ITEM DESCRIPTION OF Fresh Fruit and Vegetables This solicitation will result in the award of a BPA The BPA will run from the date of award to November 30, 2014 Contractor shall be within a 200-mile radius of the VA facility to ensure delivery of fresh produce products during in-climate weather. Reference the attached RFQ for further details GRAND TOTAL --- ==================== FOB point is Destination: Department of Veterans Affairs, VA SORCC (White City) Oregon VAMC, Attn: Anthony Corosu, Nutrition and Food Service, 8495 Crater Lake Hwy., White City, Oregon 97503. Delivery shall be made no later than 2 days after receipt of order. This will be a decentralized agreement allowing persons other than the contracting officer to place calls against a bulk funding document. Multiple calls are expected throughout the year. Award will be made to the offeror representing the best value to the Government. All proposals will be evaluated in accordance with technical capability, compliance with the solicitation requirements and price. All Contractors, are required to register in the SAM (system for Award Management) database before an award. Contractors are responsible for the accuracy of information added to CCR.
