Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Network Contracting Activity (NCO) VISN6 Central Acquisition Service intends to contract by means of other than full and open competition for I-Portal NOTC Premium Support for 1. NOTC-S. 2. I-Portal NOTC Premium Support for NOTC- P/C and I- Portal NOTC Premium Support for NOTC-O to include discount for Biomed In-house Support for all equipment. The government intends to award a sole source contract for this requirement. The NAICS Code is 423450 and the classification code is 6515. The suggested vendor is Neurokinetics Inc. 130 Gamma Dr. Pittsburgh, PA 15238. This equipment support is for the Veterans Affairs Medical Center located in Richmond, Virginia. The VA intends to procure this requirement on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no solicitation will be issued; however, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Responses are due by November 14th, 2012 at 4:00PM EST. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
