Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with L-3 Communications, Communication Systems- West, of Salt Lake City, UT, a modification to add Firm Fixed Price (FFP) line items to procure an approximate quantity of 75 AN/SRQ-4 maintenance assist modules (MAMS) in support of the current CDL Hawklink AN/SRQ-4 production systems. The anticipated effort will be awarded on a sole-source basis to L-3 Communications-CSW in accordance with FAR 6.302-1,'Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements,' because L-3 is the current manufacturer of the MH-60 CDL Hawklink system and the only company with the necessary data and capability to perform these efforts for the H-60 CDL Hawklink system in a cost effective and timely manner.
