Description

The project consists of the site adaptation and construction of additional new permanent facilities for the 8th Commando (CDO) to Special Operations Kandak (SOK) Conversion at Camp Tarin Kowt, Uruzgan Province, Afghanistan. The project is defined as the site adapt, materials, labor and equipment to construct buildings, roads, utilities, and other infrastructure. The intent is provide permanent basing standards using K-Span construction methods and standardized designs to complete the project. These facilities shall be site adapted and constructed from standard designs in accordance with current building codes, safety, and security standards and applicable to local standards. Site grading and drainage plan has been approved. All utilities shall be complete and operational prior to occupancy. The applicable NAICS Code is 236220 ($33.5M small business size standard). The solicitation will be unrestricted/full and open. The Period of Performance is 540 days. The Magnitude of this construction project is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. The closing date will be contained in the solicitation and any solicitation amendments that may be issued. Requirements: 52.209-99 (System for Award Management Registration) applies to this procurement. ALL prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management site (SAM) and the Joint Contingency Contracting System (JCCS) prior to award. Bidders are encouraged to register early to ensure eligibility for award.
