Description
Modernization of the Airport Traffic Control Tower, El Paso, Texas The project consists of, but is not limited to: Removal and replacement of HVAC units including 70 ton chiller and boiler systems. Removal and replacement of roof systems Airport Traffic Control Tower and Base Building. Removal and replacement of existing electrical distribution panels. This is to be accomplished while maintaining the current operation of the ATCT. Much of the work is required to be completed during the hours of 9:00and 6:00 AM. TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE - NAICS 237990. Estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000 The contractor awarded this contract must have active registration in the System for Award Management before award can be made. This paragraph is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises. The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged businesses Utilization has programs to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and control by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire capital and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime and sub-contractor at any tier. The DOT bonding assistance program enable firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on bond amount to surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT short term receivable financing. The maximum line of credit of $750,000.
