- The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) seeks to lease the following space: Space Type: Office Net Usable Sq. Ft: 5,000 Parking Spaces (Total): 15 Delineated Area: Northern Boundary: Sneath Lane Southern Boundary: Millbrae Avenue Eastern Boundary: El Camino Western Boundary: Interstate 280 Full Term: 10 Years / Firm Term: 5 Years ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: The offered space: "Shall meet Federal and State Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. "The space shall be fully serviced. "Hours of operation: 365 days, 7 days, 24 hours "Shall not be in the 100 year flood plain. "Space shall not be next to a bar, liquor store or like establishment; "Space shall not be located near a residential hotel; and "Space shall not be located near an area where it is known that illegal activities occur "Is preferred to be located on ground floor, if not, elevator must be compliant with accessibility standards. Brokers or legal representatives must show written acknowledgement and permission to represent the property. Expressions of Interest Due: Dec 7, 2012 no later than 4:00 PM PDT SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Net usable square feet does not include such areas as stairs, elevators, mechanical and utility rooms, ducts, shafts, vestibules and public corridors, and public toilets required by local code. The Government is limited by law (41 C.F.R. 102-73.55) to pay no more than the appraised fair rental value for space. A market survey of offered properties will be conducted by VA staff. All interested parties shall respond to this announcement no later than the above Expressions of Interest date and shall include the following as a minimum: Building name and address Location of available space and date of availability Rentable and net usable square feet rental rate/ psf, specifying services and utilities "As built" floor plans of offered space Contact information of authorized representative Electronic and hard copies shall be sent to: Department of Veteran Affairs Attn: Nicholo V.
