- This is a Sources-Sought Synopsis. The 412 Test Wing, Edwards AFB, CA is seeking sources with demonstrated expertise and experience to meet the following requirement for a contract to provide the following services. REQUIREMENTS: The contractor shall provide all management, personnel, tools, vehicles, supplies, materials, equipment, and labor to maintain and repair airfield lighting control system at Edwards Air Force Base. All work shall comply with government standards and industry standards, whichever is more stringent. The contractor shall also be responsible for preventative maintenance and repair. Firms having an interest, demonstrated experience, capability and appropriate background are invited to submit particulars of qualification and experience. Responses shall include sufficient information to demonstrate the experience and capability to perform all areas of the required support as part of a qualification package. The statement of capability shall include relevant background and experience, with contract numbers, names and telephone numbers of contracting office and technical office point of contacts for each contract. Please note that this synopsis is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for competitive bids/proposals and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Firms responding to this notice must reference solicitation #AIRFIELDLIGHTING and indicate whether or not that they are a small business concern as defined in FAR 52.219-1. The NAICS code is 238210. The Small Business Size standard is $14M. The information received as a result of this synopsis will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Air Force not to open the requirement to open competition, based on response to this sources sought synopsis, is solely within the discretion of the Air Force. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this sources sought synopsis.
