Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order to Trek Diagnostics, 982 Keynote Circle, Suite 6, Cleveland, OH 44131, for a quantity of 150 Custom MIC Plate; Dry Format (SPN Panels - 1500); quantity of 20 Custom MIC Plate; Dry Format (SPN Panels - 200); quantity of 350 Custom MIC Plate (GASIGBS Panels - 3500) and quantity of 15 Custom MIC Plate (GASIGBS Panels - 150). This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy the Agency's requirements because the Rapid Antimicrobial suscceptibility testing plates are custom manufactured. No solicitation is being issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals, however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which, if received by the response date, shall be considered by the Agency. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within discretion of the Government.
