- Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for sources sought This Sources Sought/Market Survey is seeking interested vendors for competitive consideration. The 17th Contracting Squadron, Goodfellow AFB, Texas is conducting market research to determine the businesses available for a firm fixed price contract for providing Furnishing Management Services at Goodfellow AFB in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. The requirement is listed in the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) which is not a final PWS. The PWS is a general indication of the scope of work that is provided currently here at Goodfellow AFB. The anticipated North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) is 561210, Base Facilities Operation Support Services, and the small business size standard is $35.5 million. The following is a listing of skill sets required to accomplish the work. 21410 WAREHOUSE SPECIALIST - As directed, the Warehouse Specialist performs a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan. Work involves most of the following: verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials, examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage, removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment. This worker may operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties. 21050 MATERIAL HANDLING LABORER - This person will perform physical tasks to transport or store materials or merchandise. Duties involve one or more of the following: manually loading or unloading freight cars, trucks, or other transporting devices; unpacking, shelving, or placing items in proper storage locations; or transporting goods by hand truck, cart, or wheelbarrow. Responses should include identification of company, Cage Code, business size & status, proof of experience, and capability. This is not a notice of announcement for solicitation. The Government will not pay for any material provided in response to this market research nor will the government return any data provided. All interested businesses are required to respond to this sources sought announcement via email No Later than 30 November 2012, 4 p.m. CST. Responses shall not exceed 10 pages and must include company point of contact, email address & telephone number. The information provided in the response to this sources sought announcement will be used to finalize the acquisition strategy for this requirement.
