- FOR ALL INFORMATION CONTACT:Stephen Chiu, Electronic Engineer, 443-395-6348 stephen.chiu@us.army.mil This is a sources sought announcement only. There is no solicitation available at this time. The Army requires repair services for the ITT-version Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System (SINCGARS) secondary components. The Technical Data Packages that the Government possesses for the secondary components to be repaired are INCOMPLETE due to the data right issues. Portion or all of technical data for the secondary components are proprietary to ITT Exelis. The items to be repaired include: NSN 5998-01-547-9841, Circuit Card Assembly; NSN 5998-01-435-8078, Circuit Card Assembly; NSN 5998-01-435-8082, Circuit Card Assembly. Interested sources which have technical knowledge of SINCGARS radio family elements and are capable of repairing these items must send a response describing in detail their ability meeting the Government requirements. Response shall be submitting in writing through email to U.S. ARMY CECOM, ATTN: RDER-PRC-TR (Stephen Chiu) at Stephen.Chiu@us.army.mil. The response MUST include documentation to demonstrate the interested sources' capability of repairing these items, and copy of purchasing order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with a unit of the listed items that will be physically and functionally interchangeable and interoperable with the existing SINCGARS and existing components/spares for the SINCGARS. Interested sources must be a U.S. vendor possessing the necessary security clearance to process Communications Security COMSEC equipment. Successful repair services provider may be required to warrant that the items repaired will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army and that will be delivered on time. Pertinent information received from this market survey will be evaluated by the Government technical personnel for the purpose of planning. The Government will not reimburse interested sources or responders to this notice for any information received and any costs incurred in responding, or for subsequent exchanges of information. Information submitted does not constitute a proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, but will be considered an exchange of capabilities and ideas.
