- The Army is in the process of finalizing its acquisition strategy for the requirement described in the draft solicitation and its attachments. The Army seeks to provide industry an opportunity to review the requirement documents, submit questions, and request a one-hour teleconference to discuss this acquisition. Business Size Standard: The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 334290, size standard 750 employees. Estimated Dollar Value: $228,600,000.00. Type Contract: Firm Fixed Price Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract. Order Period: 36-months from date of award. Industry Day: There is no industry day for this acquisition. Instead, the Army will hold a teleconference for a one-hour period with each company that wants to discuss this acquisition. The Army will conduct one teleconference with each company on a first come first serve basis. The Army shall not conduct a separate teleconference with different business divisions from the same company. To request a teleconference, submit three dates and preferred times to Ralph Kaminski via email ralph.f.kaminski.civ@mail.mil no later than 3 Dec 2012. Representatives from the Program Office and Contracting Center will represent the Army during the teleconference. Questions: The Army will only accept and respond to questions submitted via email. If a question's content pertains to a company's proprietary information; then, the question shall reflect a designation that its content is proprietary. Questions are due to Ralph Kaminski on 26 Dec 2012 via email ralph.f.kaminski.civ@mail.mil. The Army will provide a response to only the company submitting the question. Industry Comments and Recommendation: The Army seeks other comments and recommendations from industry on this draft RFP. To provide comments and recommendations submit them with questions under another heading. All draft RFP documents are provided by separate attachments at website https://acquisition.army.mil/afsi to get documents.
