Description

Renovation and repair of the Waste Water Treatment Plant at the Naval Support Activity, Crane, Indiana. The work consists of construction of a 1,500,000 gallon earthen lined wet weather flow equalization basin lagoon with liner, floating mechanical aerators, duplex submersible overflow pumping station with VFD controls, force main to new lagoon, and return flow meter/modulating control valve. Also, upgrade and/or replace existing WWTP SCADA instrumentation to include: replacement of SCADA HMI Workstation and upgrade/replace existing HMI software, add a new PLC panel (in addition to the existing PLC panel) in the Filter Control Building to accommodate additional monitoring/control objectives, add new PLC panel for the wet weather flow equalization lagoon site, and the PLC panel would communicate back to the Filter Control Building PLC via radio telemetry; incorporate monitoring and/or control of existing plant equipment and proposed new facilities (overflow pumping station, wet weather equalization basin and aerators, return flow metering/modulating valve and new Phase II UV disinfection equipment) into the upgraded SCADA equipment, replace existing combined tertiary filter console with new filter console which has integral PLC, local HMI screen and manual back-up control capability.
