Description

The electrical portion of this effort entails installation of a Government provided switchgear section, installation of conduit and wires to a 1200 amp Power Panel and a 900 amp feet to a single load. The Conduit will be hung from the ceiling and along the walls, and use of a rigid conduit that is plastic coated for a portion of the run in a acid/wash down trench to reach the equipment. The entire conduit run from the switchgear, panel and to the equipment will be less than 300 feet. There will also be an electrical requirement to provide power form exisitng panels to feed new chiller, glycol injection unit, and other small mechanical equipment as required. The mechanical poriton of the project is to provide a cooling water system to cool a process load of approximately 20 nominal cooling tons. The requirements include: the installation of a Government provided air cooled outdoor process chiller, equipment maintenance pad, underground work to route pre-insulated process water piping to the facility, piping, supports, and ancillary equipment within the occupied facility. Also, controls for the process water system, hookup of Government furnished process test equipment, testing, adjusting, balanceing of the hydronic system, and other ancillary work in support of the process water system.
