Description

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. It is not a solicitation. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research to gain knowledge of qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 621511, size standard $13.5M. The Government will use responses to make appropriate acquisition decisions. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 22 is seeking sources to provide external laboratory services for the VA San Diego Healthcare System. Candidates must be able to provide results turnaround within 24 hours or less for the following services: Block Immunoperoxidase Recut Unstained Slide Stain I Stain II Responses should include company name, address, point of contact, phone and fax numbers, email address, DUNS number, and size of business pursuant to the following questions: (1) Is your business large or small? (2) If small, does your firm qualify as a small emerging business, or small disadvantaged business? (3) If disadvantaged, specify under which disadvantaged group and if your firm is certified under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act. (4) Is your firm a certified HubZone firm? (5) Is your firm a woman-owned or operated business? (6) Is your firm a certified service disabled veteran owned small or veteran owned small business? Please email responses to evelyn.mckenna@va.gov by December 7, 2012. Telephone responses will not be accepted. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or make an award, nor does the notice restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. A response to this Sources Sought Notice is not a request to be added to a prospective bidder's list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. Interested offerors must respond to the solicitation in addition to responding to this Sources Sought Notice.
