- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY FOR THE PURPOSES OF CONDUCTING MARKET RESEARCH. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The MICC Fort Gordon Contracting Office intends to issue a sole source bridge contract to the incumbent contractor for Base Operations Support Services on Fort Gordon, Georgia. The bridge contract will have a three month base period (1 April 2013 through 30 June 2013) and one three month option period (1July 2013 - 30 September 2013). The primary type of work will include facilities support services under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 561210. The small business size standard for this NAICS is $33.5 million average annual revenue for the last three fiscal years. Work under this requirement shall provide the management, administration, supplies, materials and labor necessary to perform the installation Public Works and Logistics Support mission for Fort Gordon, Georgia. Support functions include Contingency Planning & Mobilization, Resources Management Services, Engineer Work Order Reception and Tracking, Environmental Effects, U-Do-It Services, Facilities Maintenance & Repair, Ground and Surfaced Areas, Pest Control, Plant Operations Services, Project Accomplishment, Transportation, Transportation Motor Pool, Supply and C&E, V&E Maintenance. Any response to this sources sought must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. In doing so, interested sources must submit technical capabilities and other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the Governments needs no later than 9:00 a.m. EST, Fri, Dec 7, 2012 by email to veronica.v.sistrunk.civ@mail.mil. No solicitation will be released for competition from this announcement, and no reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with providing information in response to this announcement. No contract will be awarded on a basis of offers received in response to this notice, but offers will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the Government. No solicitation document is available and telephones requests for technical information will not be honored.
