Description

SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, VISN 6 Network Contracting Office (NCO), on behalf of Veterans Administration Medical Center Richmond, is conducting market research through this sources sought notice to seek sources to provide maintenance and support for the Mammography System (SN 29412072681) at Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center, 1201 Broad Rock Blvd, VA 23249. A. General Requirements Contractor to provide platinum service maintenance on the Selenia Mammography System (SN 29412072681) at the Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center, 1201 Broad Rock Blvd, VA 23249. B. Maintenance Platinum service maintenance contract with 24x7 phone support that includes remote diagnostics, patching ability and consultation and software downloads. This includes unlimited support requests. On-site support is covered during normal working hours 8am-5 pm Monday through Friday and emergency coverage 5-9 pm. Onsite service includes all labor, travel and parts/material costs. Onsite service requests are unlimited through this contract. This contract includes all software updates and enhancements released during its term. All Safety and Quality updates are also covered. All replacement parts including glassware for the x-ray tube and digital array detector as well as necessary plastics (face shields and paddles).Preventative Maintenance will be scheduled in advance during the months they are due (semi-annual)and performed during normal working hours between 8am and 5 pm. C. Period of Performance-Coverage Period Maintenance contract to cover the period from 01/01/2013 - 09/30/13. D. Option Years-the contract will have a base year (FY 13) with four option years. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 423450, Size Standard: 500 Employees and the Classification code is 6525. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. This is a sources sought notice only. This is not a solicitation and does not obligate the Government to issue a solicitation. The information submitted will be reviewed by the Government technical representatives for considering future requirements. Responses to this notice should include the following: name and address of company, business size, and any other pertinent information that demonstrates firm's ability to meet the above requirement.
