- The U.S. Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Joint Base Myer - Henderson Hall intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract to TrapWire, Inc. The Joint-Forces Headquarters-Military District of Washington (MDW), Provost Marshall Office has a requirement for Software Maintenance and User Access for TrapWire, a Threat Interdiction System. The scope of work for this requirement is to provide continued server access, operability, maintenance, any required software updates, and user training for the existing TrapWire Systems on MDW military installations. This contract is a logical follow-on to the TrapWire capability already in place at five (5) MDW installations, and is necessary to maintain the existing system. The government intends to solicit and negotiate the required maintenance & user access services for the TrapWire Threat Interdiction System with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The contemplated period of performance is for a base period of twelve (12) months with two (2) option years. The intended contractor is TrapWire, Inc. 1875 Campus Common Drive, Suite 301, Reston VA 20191-1533. The designated NAICS code is 511210 and the small business size standard is $25 million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals. Any questions regarding the requirement must be submitted via email only to valerie.m.catlett.civ@mail.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The solicitation will not be posted.
