Description

Modification to clarify requirement. The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Dynatest Consulting for the purchase of four (4) Dynatest CP-15 units that replaces existing equipment on FHWA's existing Dynatest FWDs (Falling Weight Deflectometer) used by FHWA's Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center for the collection of pavement deflection data. This will replace the existing Dynatest 9000 System Processor, the Trailer PCB and the Hydraulic Connection Box. Dynatest Consulting is the only authorized seller and manufacturer of Dynatest FWDs in the US. Therefore, Dynatest Consulting is the only source who can provide the new Dynatest FWD, Type CP-15 (not refurbished). This is a Simplified Acquisition and the anticipated award date is December 17, 2012.
