- The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) in support of U.S. Army Medical Materiel Development Agency (USAISR) provided funds to procure ONE (1) Alienware M18X R2 - Direct, associated accessories and supplies for virtual studies with patience. USAMRAA intends to award this contract on a sole source basis with DELL in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, 10 U.S.C.2304(C)(1). This announcement constitutes the only notice. A written solicitation will not be issued. Interested persons may identify their interest by submitting a capability statement, proposal or quotation. This Special Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the Government will consider all quotes received by the closing date specified in this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. If no written responses are received at least fifteen (15) days after the publication of this notice, the purchase will be awarded without further remark.
