Description
Amendment 1 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and proposals are being requested. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation RFQP01191300001. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 335999, with size standards in number of employees under 500. A Firm Fixed- Price type contract will be awarded. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The Government intends to make a single award of a firm fixed price to the responsive/responsible contractor who submits the lowest price, technically acceptable offer. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Requirement/Description: To Provide a 30kVA Uninterruptible Power Supply at the Federal Correctional Institution in Glenville, WV. See solicitation for requirements. Contractor MUST provide specifications of the product that will be delivered in their quote, along with completing pages 1 and 4 of the solicitation. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to insure they have the most up-to-date information about his solicitation. Payment will be made by using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the System for Acquisition Management (SAM) database. The website for registration is www.sam.gov. Completed offers may be emailed to dduffield@bop.gov or faxed to the attention of David Duffield, at (304) 626-2695. The anticipated date of award is December 10, 2012.
