The Compressed Air Units provide compressed air for operation of air tools and tire inflation, and provide electrical power for power tools, a crane, and lighting. The Compressed Air Units contemplated will include an air compressor, generator, and diesel power unit that interfaces with the LUPO. It is contemplated that characteristics will include (but will not be limited to): Liquid-cooled diesel engine powered (operable with JP-8 and diesel fuel). Single stage, oil injected, rotary screw-type air compressor. Air compressor capable of maintaining continual use without air tank. Capability of delivering at least 35 scfm of compressed air at 150 psi. Capability of delivering at least 3.3 Kw at 120 Volts AC at 60 Hz. Capable of delivering compressed air and power simultaneously. Size not exceeding 32.3"x41.3"x31.3". Weight not exceeding 870 lbs fully filled with fuel and other liquids. Noise output not exceeding 70 dB at 7 meters. Operation time of at least 8 hrs continuous without refueling. It is anticipated that the requirement could include up to 130 units.
