- The Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Forrest City, Arkansas, intends to issue a solicitation for the 2nd quarter Dry Goods & Kosher Items. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business, FOB Destination and delivery dates will be the week of January 1, 2013. Delivery dates after January 21, must be approved by the Food Service Administrator. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Complex Warehouse, 1301 Dale Bumpers Road, Forrest City, Arkansas 72335. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right upon award to make single or multiple awards. The Government will award to the responsible offer (s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation are considered to be most advantageous to the Government based on price related factors only. The solicitation will be made available on or about December 4, 2012, and all future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities website. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website is www.ccr.gov. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about December 14, 2012. Completed offers may be emailed to rfortune@bop.gov or mailed to FCC Forrest City, P.O. Box 7000, Forrest City, AR 72336. All offers must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. Central Time on December 14, 2012
