The Period of Performance for this requirement consists of one base period from 01 January 2013 through 31 December 2013, with two (2) one year option periods. This ECA and T2CSS warranty maintenance provides equipment repair and/or replacement during the warranty period. The following items will be provided during the Base and Option years POP: Maint-T2-AD Post Warranty Maintenance Per T2CSS - Quantity 37 Maint-MiniT2-AD Post Warranty Maintenance Per Mini T2CSS - Quantity 22 Maint-ECA-MT2-AD Post Warranty Maintenance Per ECA Mini T2CSS Bdl - Quantity 9 This action is necessary in order for USAITA to continue ongoing Operations & Maintenance. The T2CSS Boards and ECA's are a required component to the successful operation of Defense Messaging. Without this equipment, ITA OPS-ASD would not be able to provide data confidentiality, data integrity, key management, digital signature and time-stamp services to DoD or its customers rendering the ITA OPS-ASD unable to deliver an unparalleled customer experience to our customers. Award of the contract is needed to maintain continuity by obtaining maintenance from the incumbent provider. A failure to continue maintenance or any unacceptable delays would cause duplication of cost to the Government and harm the mission accomplishment, as they are critical to the customer. This action will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract. This Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There will be no Request for Proposal available for competitive proposals. Phone calls WILL NOT be accepted. Interested parties may express their interest and provide a Capability Statement to the Contract Specialist via email at elizabeth.a.bray10.civ@mail.mil no later than 09 December 2012 at 10:00 am EST. A determination not to compete this proposed contract action upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
