- NSN: 2540-20-005-6507 - Armor Supplement, being bought in accordance with Armatec Survivability Corp (L0782) with P/N: AC86503-03. Based on market research this item is not commercial and will be solicited using FAR Part 15. The required quantity is 8 each to be shipped to (SW3215) Barstow, CA ZIP CODE 92311-5014. FOB origin and inspection acceptance at origin is required. This solicitation will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp after the issue date of 12/21/2012. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. There are no technical drawings/bid sets available. This solicitation is not set-aside for small business. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, per provisions (52.215-9C09, 52.211-9051, and 52.215-9022). The required delivery is 150 days. Best commercial packaging is acceptable. All offers shall be in the English language and in US dollars. Armatec Survivability is small Canadian foreign company offering product under qualifying country. Duty-Free Entry (252.225-7013) provision applies. Special notes: Material Cost Reduction Initiative To ensure DLA continues delivering products and services at the most economical costs, DLA Land and Maritime has initiated a Material Cost Reduction Initiative. To support this initiative, please be advice, the Government is seeking to reduce material pricing by as much as 10% per NSN on this solicitation.
