- Description
- The Department of Air Force, 647th Contracting Squadron, intends to issue solicitation FA5215-13-R-0002, for Technical Control Services located on Joint Base Pearl Harbor - Hickam. This service will require the contractor to provide all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, facilities, equipment and transportation necessary to provide 24/7 Technical Control Services. The proposed contract period shall consist of one (1) twelve month base year and three (3) one year option periods for renewal at the discretion of the Government. The project is set-aside for 8(a) competition. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 517110 with a small business size standard of 1500 employees. The solicitation will be made available on or about December 17, 2012, and all future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities website. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. All information required for submission of an offer will be identified in the solicitation. A site visit will be conducted at a date and time to be determined in the solicitation. This site visit is highly encouraged but not mandatory. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Manamgement (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. Information concerning SAM registration requirements may be viewed via the Internet via http://www.sam.gov. The resultant award will be a Firm Fixed Price, Non-Personal Service, Single-Award Contract. This notices serves as preliminary information only and does NOT obligate the Government to award a contract, restrict the government in its ultimate acquisition approach, or obligate the government to pay for proposal costs.
