- This is an intended sole source announcement. Space and Naval Warfare Center Atlantic (SPAWAR Atlantic) intends to award this requirement on a Firm Fixed Price Sole Source Purchase Order to Nova Power Solutions, Inc. for the procurement of 40 each - P/N 110-15040, SNMP "Mini" Network Card (not factory installed); 40 Each P/N XL66169, SNMP Adaptor Card for use with 110-15040 only; 20 Each P/N 223-15176-2, Replacement 120VDC Battery Assembly for the NPS Series UPS. Nova Power is the Original Equipment Manufacturer and has the proprietary schematics, drawings and specifications required to manufacture the required equipment. The items being purchased must be compatible and interchangeable with existing equipment and these features can only be obtained by using the sole source company equipment. Lastly the items must be a SPAWAR PPIL/SSIL approved item for use on Shipboard Tactical/Weapons and IT Networks, which this product is. Award is anticipated by COB 21 December 2012. This synopsis is posted for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. No electronic or hard copy Request For Quote (RFQ) will be prepared or made available for distribution. This action will be conducted under FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. NAICS is 335999. Vendors must be registered to the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and to the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) programs prior to award of contract. Information to register can be found at https://orca.bpn.gov. Invoices must be submitted electronically via Wide Area Workflow (WAWF). Information can be found at https://wawf.eb.mil. Vendor training is available on the internet at https://wawftraining.eb.mil. Quotes are due to the Contract Specialist, Victoria Franklin at victoria.franklin@navy.mil by 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, December 10, 2012. Delivery is expected by February 6, 2013. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information received.
