Description

The South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS), 7400 Merton Minter Blvd., San Antonio, Texas 78229 intends to enter into a sole source agreement with EV3 to purchase the following:.035 balloon catheters, nanocross balloon catheters, spider clot filters, turbhawk guidewire, echelon micro catheters, and specialty surgical supplies. The items are required in various sizes and will be utilized by the OR for limb and vascular procedures. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1 (a) (2). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All information shall be furnished at a no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses received, will be made entirely at the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Please submit information to Shaundrica Close at Shaundrica.Close@va.gov. All responses must be received no later than December 12, 2012, 12:00 pm local time. The North American Industry Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 339112 with a size standard of 500 employees.
