- Description
- The NETCOM/9th Signal Command (Army) has a requirement for nonpersonal services for local telephone exchange services at the Sierra Army Depot, CA. The proposed contract is for a base year with four one-year options. The local exchange services provider, certified by the State of California, shall provide local commercial communications service for the Sierra Army Depot, which shall include as a minimum but not limited to local access for commercial subscriber lines, digital access trunks, local exchange digital (ISDN PRI) trunks, transport channels, foreign exchange trunks and directory number and number portability. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered. Sources responding to this requirement must indicate in writing, whether they are a large, small, disadvantaged and /or women-owned business. For this acquisition, a concern will be considered small under SIC code 4813 with size standard of 1500 employees - NAICS 517110. This requirement shall be a commercial, fixed price type contract. Solicitation is anticipated to be released on or about 17 December 2012. The solicitation can be viewed and downloaded from the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business Website. The web address is: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/, select Contracting Opportunities Search, search by the solicitation number, W91RUS-13-R-0007. All questions related to this notice must be addressed via e-mail to the Contracting Officer. The Government will conduct a preproposal conference and site visit on 17 January 2013 at 10:00 AM (local time) at the Sierra Army Depot, CA. See the Request for Proposal, Section L for conference location. It is recommended that prospective offerors attend this conference. The conference will be from 10:00 - 11:00 AM (approximately) and will be followed by a site visit from 11:00 - 12:00 AM. Offerors planning to attend are required to notify the Contracting Officer via e-mail of all attendees' names (not to exceed three per company) prior to 10 January 2013. Questions prior to the conference must be received before 10 January 2013. Questions generated as a result of the preproposal conference must be sent to the Contracting Officer by 22 January 2013. Directions and security requirements will be sent to only those individuals who have confirmed their attendance with the Contracting Officer.
