Description
Attachment A - Specification Solicitation Document Attachment B - Labeling Specification This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The document # is BEP-RFP-13-0206 and this is a Request for Proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-62 including amendments effective November 20, 2012. This requirement is being set-aside as a Total Small Businesses set aside under NAICS code 322121. Only qualified Offerors may submit responses. The Government anticipates awarding one (1) Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract. In this instance, BEP requires a Contractor to supply paper suitable for manufacturing currency straps and currency bundle bands for its operation. This paper is used by BEP to manufacture its own currency straps and currency bundle bands for packaging of the U.S. currency banknote that it manufactures. Currently, the manufactured currency straps and currency bundle bands are used in the Packaging Section of BEP's currency Overprinting Examination and Packaging Machines (COPE-PAK) at BEP's ECF.
